Influencing policy and legislation through proposing legal changes, monitoring legislation and its compliance with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities & EU Standards and drafting guidelines and roadmap for responsible institutions.
Comprehensive approach to increase the capacities of justice system stakeholders, organizations and activists defending the rights of persons with disabilities to improve behavior, attitudes and response to issues related to equal recognition before the law and access to justice.
Legal education of persons with disabilities and their community about the rights and obligations provided for in the legislation as well as the use of online legal aid platforms.
Access to justice through the provision of free legal services to persons with disabilities online and in person.
Accessibility through adaptation of legal information, project products in languages accessible to persons with disabilities.
2000 persons with disabilities supporting through tailored and accessible information.
Support provided to 40 NPO-s/ DPOs and 15 disability activists through tailored educational programs/ trainings.
Capacitty building for 220 staff from relevant public/private authorities in the justice system through 11 training sessions.
Tech literacy of 120 persons with disabilities to assist usage of online interactive and accessible legal aid platform.
900 marginalized persons with disabilities will benefit from delivering mobility/at home and accessible online free legal aid.
Propose at legal 2 legal amendments to harmonize legislation that recognize legal capacity to act for persons with disabilities with CRPD;
Creation of 1 guidance note, 2 factsheets, 2 documents available in alternative and accessible formats for PWD (e.g., easy read formats, in audio and sign language).
Production of 1 monitoring report, including audit access reports of premises in courts, police stations, in centers and legal clinics providing legal aid.
